    A truck stop in Wiltshire has been named the best in the country by readers of Truck Stop News.

    The Chippenham Pit Stop will receive its award later today.

    A shortlist of truck stops was compiled before being visited by mystery shoppers.

    The services - which offe health promotions for drivers - were praised for food, cleanliness and facilities.

    Plans have been submitted to start a new concrete manufacturing facility in Westbury, in a move that could create more than 80 jobs.

    Tarmac wants to make pre-cast concrete products at the former site of the famous Westbury chimney for the HS2 project, the new high-speed railway.

    A vintage Avro Series 19 Anson will return tomorrow to the airfield in Gloucestershire where it was based 50 years ago.

    The aircraft was built in 1946 and delivered to Smiths Industries at Staverton where it was used to test navigation equipment and instruments.

    Now preserved and operated by BAE Systems from the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden, the aircraft is returning to its former home for a respray.

    It is expected to arrive around 1330 BST.

    Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a robbery at McColls in Filton Avenue, Bristol on January 14.

    The incident happened just after 6pm.

    Two men entered the shop threatened two staff members and stole £200 in cash and cigarettes.

    The men were wearing dark clothing with face coverings.

    Police are appealing for witnesses after a cash machine was stolen from Waitrose in Malmesbury in a ram raid in the early hours of this morning.

    The incident happened at approximately 2.45am on 19 January and three vehicles were involved: a dark-coloured estate car, a silver Ford Transit Van and a dark-coloured Land Rover Discovery.

    All three vehicles then left the scene and along the A429 towards Cirencester.

    Detective Constable Jo Chesshire from Chippenham Tasking Team said: "We believe six or seven men were involved in this incident.

    "We would be keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity or any vehicles in the area of the A429 between 2am and 3am who may have dash cam footage featuring vehicles including 4x4s, estates or vans that were travelling in convoy."

    Congratulations to Chris and Vicky Clarke from Chipping Sodbury.

    Their baby was in such a hurry to be born, the family didn't make it to the hospital in time.

    Chris had to stop the car - and deliver the baby in the front seat.

    The former Conservative MP for Bath, Ben Howlett, has told BBC Radio Bristol he believes Brexit lost him his seat last year.

    Howlett won the seat in 2015 after veteran Liberal Democrat Don Foster retired.

    This was the first time a Tory held the seat since Chris Patten lost to Don Foster in 1992.

    But Mr Howlett says it was too much to fight the 2017 General Election as a representative of the party leading Brexit in a city that voted overwhelmingly for remain in the referendum.

    He lost his seat to the Liberal Democrat Wera Hobhouse.
