Despite being third in the table, there is one Reading statistic that is less attractive.
In 23 matches this season in league and cup, The Royals have managed 52 yellow cards, and four yellows, including Danny Williams' in the 5-0 defeat to Fulham on Saturday.
In comparison, in the whole of last season they managed 81 yellows and three reds.
For Reading's boss, Jaap Stam that it's all a sign of competitiveness and aggression.
"Sometimes players have a fighting spirit," Stam told BBC Radio Berkshire, you don't want to drag that out of the players."

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has joined a "coalition" of councils, environmental activists and private residents in serving legal papers to the government for "unlawfully supporting the Heathrow expansion".
The Prime Minister's local council has formally requested for a judicial review of the government's decision. If the request is successful they hope the case will be heard in the High Court early next year.
Quote MessageThe Royal Borough has been very consistent in saying it will hold government to account for its decision and seek to protect our residents from the public health risks of an expanded Heathrow Airport."
