Glenys Kinnock remembers Jo Cox

Glenys Kinnock, a close friend of late Labour MP Jo Cox, has said she was "a remarkable woman" and it was "a joy to know her".

After her killer was sentenced to a whole-life term, Baroness Kinnock said the attack should not be seen as "an aberration" but part of "a growing... encouragement of terrible violence".

"We'll all feel very conscious of the need to promote and persevere with what Jo stood for," she told BBC Radio 4's The World At One.
