It will record 400 conversations, providing a unique oral record of 2017, archived and available to the public.

A number of these conversations will be broadcast as part of The Listening Project on BBC Radio 4, presented by Fi Glover, with two live specials also planned for the summer. A new weekly Listening Project programme will launch on BBC Radio Humberside on Sunday 16 April between 5-6pm, presented by David Reeves.
