When is the Eurovision Song Contest 2026?
The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 takes place in Vienna on Saturday 16 May, with the Semi-Finals taking place on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May.

Eurovision Semi-Finals with Rylan and Angela Scanlon
Tuesday 12 May and Thursday 14 May, 8pm - BBC iPlayer and BBC One
The Semi-Finals are live on BBC iPlayer and BBC One, and guiding audiences on the Euro-phoric journey is commentator and Eurovision aficionado, Rylan, who will be joined on the ride by Angela Scanlon, live from the Wiener Stadthalle arena in Vienna.
Each Semi-Final, hosted by Austrian stars Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski, features performances from the pre-qualified Big Four countries, and an array of unmissable interval acts. Across both Semi-Finals we will see 10 contestants eliminated from the competition – giving us 25 competitors for Saturday’s Grand Final.
Viewers in the United Kingdom will be able to vote for their favourites in the second Semi-Final and UK viewers are in for a treat, as the UK act LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER takes to the Eurovision stage for the first time to perform his song Eins, Zwei, Drei, before he competes in Saturday's Grand Final.
Eurovision 2026, The Grand Final with Graham Norton
Saturday 16 May, 8pm - BBC iPlayer and BBC One
In the Grand Final, the remaining 25 countries, including the UK’s LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER, will battle it out for the win. Delighting audiences throughout the night with his famously witty insights, is master of ceremonies and seasoned Eurovision expert, Graham Norton.
Hosted by Austrian stars, Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski, the Grand Final of Eurovision 2026 will be awash with treats and surprises for the viewers across the globe. The opening act The Queen of the Night will see 2025 winner JJ showcase his remarkable vocal abilities as he seamlessly blends Mozart-inspired elements with his own music, alongside more than 40 dancers and acrobats, as the 25 Grand Finalists are introduced in the iconic flag parade.
Viewers will then be treated to the 25 competing entries as they take to the stage one by one, giving the performance of a lifetime in the hopes of being crowned the Eurovision 2026 winner.

And dishing out the UK's douze points is 2026 Jury Spokesperson La Voix.
Following her sparkling stint in the Strictly ballroom, the singer and global icon will be the United Kingdom’s very first Eurovision ‘spokesqueen’, delivering the results of the UK’s National Jury live from Salford during the Grand Final.

Eurovision 2026 with Audio Description and BSL
This Eurovision will continue to be one of the most accessible programmes for our audiences, with live Audio Description available on the BBC iPlayer and BBC One broadcasts of all three live shows. Live British Sign Language interpretation will be available during the shows on the Red Button and iPlayer, with subtitles available throughout the BBC One and Signed coverage on iPlayer.

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER is representing the United Kingdom at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria in May 2026 with his song Eins, Zwei, Drei.
It's a song about escaping the soul-crushing boredom of the nine to five, into a world of dreams and endless possibilities.

Meet the Eurovision 2026 Presenters

Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski are set to welcome the world to Vienna as they host the 70th Eurovision Song Contest.
Swarovski, from Innsbruck in Tyrol, Austria, is a TV presenter, entrepreneur, model, designer, and singer. Ostrowski, from Leoben in Austria, is a film and TV actor, as well as a popular presenter.
Eurovision 2026 Semi-Finals
The Top 10 countries from each Semi-Final progressed to join 5 pre-qualified countries in the Grand Final on Saturday 16 May.
France, Germany, Italy, the UK and last year’s winner Austria automatically qualify for the Grand Final, however they are each required to broadcast and vote in one of the Semi-Finals.
First Semi-Final
In the first Semi-Final, the first group of countries competed for a place in Saturday’s Grand Final.
The 10 countries who qualified for the Grand Final are:

- Belgium: ESSYLA - Dancing on the Ice

The pre-qualified Big Four countries performing and voting during the first Semi-Final were: Italy and Germany. Viewers in the UK could not vote during this Semi-Final.
Second Semi-Final
The second Semi-Final took place on Thursday 14 May. The countries and acts who qualified were:

The Big Four countries performing and voting during the second Semi-Final were France's Monroe with Regarde ! and the United Kingdom's LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER with Eins, Zwei, Drei. Pre-qualified hosts Austria also performed with COSMÓ taking to the stage with Tanzschein.
