Twelve years old and ready to take on the world, mini master DJ Metrodome and sterling sidekick MC Jordan proved that age is no barrier to talent as they became one of the draws at Dpercussion, knocking some of their older rivals into a spin in the process!

M-Tina

Practically unknown here, a chance holiday meeting between her mum and MTV’s Sway in the US led nursing assistant Martina John to land herself as M-Tina into the top ten of the Billboard charts, out-selling Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Pussycat Dolls along the way.

Snowfight In The City Centre

It’s amazing what a small change will do. Having dropped their previous moniker and added a couple of members, Snowfight played countless wonderful sets around the city and found themselves soundtracking Sky Sports and Grandstand!

The Answering Machine

Impossibly young and incredibly precocious, The Answering Machine became one of the hottest band of In The City, pushed out a great single on the ace High Voltage, and popped up time and again to thrill audiences with brief sets of angular loveliness.

Working For A Nuclear Free City

Having bubbled under for a while, Working For A Nuclear Free City released an eponymous debut that proved you don’t need the usual guitar/vocals package to make it in Manchester. Inventive and explosive in equal proportions, they are next in line to make the step up and out of the city.
