100 Club - Thomas' story

Thomas Wolfe from Platt Bridge in Wigan is 41 years-old and has rather an interesting hobby.

Thomas teaches people to walk on fire and he says that it dates back many many years.

"Fire walking has been used sine primitive times as a way of initiation primarily and we now use it in the modern world as a way of getting people to deal fears.

"It's real fire. You basically start a large fire and lay out ashes anything between twelve foot and forty foot - which I've done myself.

"the elation on someone's face when they have actually walked on fire for the first time is just amazing."

Thomas says that after walking on fire, anything you do in your life will seem easy after overcoming the built in fear of knowing you shouldn't play with fire.

"If your energy equals the energy of the fire, you won't get burnt."
