’Our Lives’
It’s the day after Christmas; you lie all warm in bed,
The thoughts of Christmas Day run around your head,
While many in Indonesia are hurt or even dead.
A tsunami hit the coast with amazing force,
Even ages later the country’s still full of remorse.
Many take life for granted, and just expect money and toys
But stop for a minute and think of the dead girls and boys.
Just think a tsunami happening right here
The words make you shudder as they pass through your ear.
The wave soared so high it blocked out all means of flight
So give a small donation and give them life.
