Tsunami Comedy Charity Gig

By Carys Kaiser
Sometimes the best way to deal with disaster is to do something to raise money. Well that's exactly what the comedy community of Manchester is planning on doing.

Tsunami Comedy Charity Gig

Wednesday 12th of January
Frog and Bucket, corner of Oldham Street and Great Ancoats
Doors open at 7.30pm - show starts at 8.30pm
Tickets £6 on the door

I am sure Manchester as a city will be raising thousands of pounds over the next few months and perhaps even years.

As Manchester is officially the second largest comedy circuit in the UK it was only a matter of time before a charity comedy night was arranged.

The special show is taking place on Wednesday the 12th of January at the Frog and Bucket with a night that promises to be glittering with local stars of the comedy circuit.

For £6 you can see, former City Life Comedian of the Year winners Justin Moorhouse, John Bishop and John Warburton.

The night is held together by MC Toby Hadoke who is resident compare and founder of Award winning XS Malarkey who'll also be introducing Mike Belgrave and Dave Longley.

The night has been organised by two comedy promoters Dave Pilling and Lee Martin.

For six quid you can't go wrong and if you have any cash left at the end of the evening I'm sure they'll be more than happy to take it off you for the appeal!

All money raised on the night to The British Red Cross to help people.
