Joanna is currently best known for her role as Stacey in the hit comedy Gavin and Stacey, for which she received a Best Comedy Newcomer nomination at the 2007 British Comedy Awards. However, she has also appeared in a wide range of films, stage plays, comedies, dramas and even music videos over the last ten years.

If Joanna looks unfamiliar with her clothes on; it's probably because you've seen the film Love Actually, where she plays a mostly naked body-double opposite the equally unclothed Martin Freeman. The pair pursue a very cautious but heart-warming relationship, while at the same time, simulating graphic sex scenes in front of a large film crew.

Aside from more serious roles in films and dramas such as The Lost World, From Hell and To the Ends of the Earth, Joanna also featured as Mark Owen's love interest in the music video for his song Makin' Out. And just in case you were in any doubt, Joanna can reveal that Mark really is a 'lovely man'.
