Roxanne McKee and Jennifer Metcalfe are better known as Hollyoaks beauties Louise Summers and Mercedes McQueen.

Jennifer plays the feisty Mercedes and says she bases the character on Eva Longoria's Desperate Housewives character Gabrielle. Jennifer got into acting after completing a degree in health and fitness and realising that 'working for a living wasn’t much fun'. So she got herself an agent, a few bit parts including an appearance on Emmerdale and then landed the role as one of Chester's finest and meanest girls.

Roxanne landed the role of Louise after impressing the judges at the open auditions for Hollyoaks: On the Pull. She's a firm favourite, winning both the 2007 British Soap Award and the Inside Soap Award for 'Sexiest Female' and regularly topping FHM's 100 Sexiest Women. Roxanne also has a degree in politics and co-owns a nightclub in Leeds.
