Hollywood actor Cuba Gooding Jr was discovered after he was chosen to perform as part of a group of break dancers at the closing ceremony of the 1984 Olympics. He worked briefly as a backing dancer for Paula Abdul before getting his first big break in the 1991 film 'Boyz in the Hood'. He is best known for his Oscar-winning performance as an arrogant footballer in 'Jerry Maguire' in 1996.

He has gone on to star alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest names and in 2002 he was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
