Present perfect

We use the present perfect plus for or since to talk about actions which started in the past and are still true now.
เราใช้ประโยคปัจจุบันสมบูรณ์ กับ for หรือ since เพื่อพูดถึงกิจกรรมที่เริ่มขึ้นในอดีต และยังทำอยู่ต่อเนื่องในปัจจุบัน

For is followed by a length of time:

For ใช้กับการระบุระยะเวลา (ทำกิจกรรมนั้น ๆ มานานเท่าใดแล้ว)

  • I've worked here for 3 years
  • I've known her for a long time

Since is followed by a point in time when the action started
Since ใช้ระบุจุดเริ่มต้นของช่วงเวลา (เริ่มทำกิจกรรมนั้น ๆ เมื่อไร)

  • I've worked here since 1998
  • I've lived here since I was born
