Analysis of mobile phone use in Britain and the US suggests young people are more reluctant to make calls on their devices, preferring to text or use instant message services.
Oliver Conway reports. Young people may appear to be glued to their phones these days, but it seems fewer of them are actually using their mobiles for the purpose that they were originally invented
