What are you looking at? Oh, you want to learn some phrases with 'look'.
If you look the part, it means your appearance is suitable for what you're doing – like me, right now…!
You need to look the part for your interview.
A similar phrase, which just means 'look smart', is look sharp.
I look sharp in these glasses.
My boss hates these glasses. She saw me wearing them and if looks could kill… We say that when someone looks at you very angrily.
I laughed at her and if looks could kill… She wasn't happy!
If you're trying a new look for a video, take some pictures first so you can look before you leap – that means check before you do something.
Cancelling is possible until the end of the trial period so you can look before you leap.
