Jonny
Hello again. It's Jonny. It's time to continue our fairy tale. Gerda is looking for her friend Kay, who's been taken away by the Snow Queen and was last seen heading for Lapland.
Gerda sets off for Lapland, where she meets a magician who waves a stick in the air, looks into a crystal ball and sees that Kay is at the Snow Queen's palace, which - by the way - is made of ice! Because of the piece of mirror stuck in Kay's heart, he sees the evil palace as a fantastic place to live.
Gerda sets off to change his mind and win her friend back. She breaks into the Snow Queen's palace and finds Kay half-frozen in ice. She can't stick the evil queen and fights her, and her love for Kay gives her strength and she wins. She runs and embraces him. Her warm tears fall down her cheeks and stick to Kay's body. Gradually the tears cause him to warm up and also wash away the splinters of glass. Now he can see properly again and realise his love for Gerda – and they promise to stick together forever!
I do love a happy ending. If only all fairy tales could come true, except for the bit about being half-frozen in ice! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the story and see you again soon. Bye for now!

hello everybody, I have to admit that this exercise is very hard for me, because I'm not good trying to write stories, but for this exercise I made my own version about a book that I read. Its title in Spanish is 'El capote' but in English mean ' The Coat '….
This story began in San Petersburgo. In this city lived an man called Akaki Akakieviech but for not make a long story I'll call him only Akaki.
Akaki worked in a government office, his job was routine but he not can't [couldn’t] stick it. He was working in this place for 40 years and he always carried his coat. This coat was very old and in the winter Akaki needed to collect sticks to throw into the fire to keep warm.
One day Akaki went to visit a tailor because he wanted a coat. The tailor made him a new coat and when Akaki saw it, he was stuck for words to say because it was the most beautiful coat that he had seen.
Akaki was excited and his co-workers organized a party to stick with him to watch his coat, but when the party ended and all people went to their houses, Akaki's coat was stolen by two thieves.
Next day Akaki arrived at the police station to report the theft but the police chief didn't stick up for him, this made him get sick and finally in few days he died.
After that, every night in San Petersburgo the people began to see a ghost that had the same face of Akaki and one night the chief police saw the Akaki's ghost and he was stuck while Akaki took the police's coat and said " we'll always stick together".

It's a story about how we stick up for family members to face up to unexpected challenges.
Not long time ago, our son born to the poorly prepared home; which has challenged us immensely. I and my wife determinedly stick up for each other despite hundreds and hundreds disagreeable things;including baby food, baby clothes, showering baby, you can name it.
Even we have numerous unpleasant arguments every single day at the very beginning, I strongly stick by her; since I did the unwise decision. For me, it is absolutely understandable why she complains of the unhappy experience time after time. She is extremely frustrated in her broken education progress ;she has been stuck with pregnancy and babysitting over two years. At one time or another, her unfriendly words stuck in my heart profoundly;after all I stick with her, in order to ease her massive stress.
On the other hand, we do stick together--there is no two ways about it. We love our baby son with heart and soul as we rush to home in no time;we stand shoulder to shoulder to work out incredible tough problems.I strongly believe it is only a matter of time before we create a bright future.
BBC Learning English says:
Thanks for your touching story and good uses of ‘stick’. We wish you a bright and happy future.
