Well, it’s clear, isn’t it?  People just use their phone too much. No one seems to be able to pay attention to anything anymore!

I think you might be right - ‘pay attention’ ਮਤਲਬ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿਓ and we often ask people to ‘pay attention’ when they are distracted by things like mobile phones. But phones are just part of our life now, are not they? It’s complicated, isn’t it?

I don’t think it’s that difficult – for some things you just need to be able to pay attention. What’s so difficult about that?

Really, Sam? ਸ਼ਬਦ ‘focus’ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ। ਮੈਂਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਕਰਦੀਂ ਹਾਂ ਫ਼ੋਕਸ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਦੂਰ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵਾਂ।
