To talk about life experiences in English we use the present perfect: Subject + have/has + past participle

The present perfect is used for an action that happened at some point in the past. The date or time that it happened is not mentioned. The focus is on the action, not when it happened.

- I've visited London.
When you talk about a specific time in the past, you need to use the past simple, NOT the present perfect
