1. associated with

ਅਕਸਰ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਿਆਂ। ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ associated with ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਸੀਂ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ। 

• Obesity associated with many health problems.
• Social problems associated with high unemployment

2. wake up to

Wake up to ਦਾ ਵੈਸੈ ਤਾਂ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਨੀਂਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਗਣਾ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਦੇ ਹੋਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਜਾਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।  

• City authorities need to wake up to traffic problems
• Schools waking up to the potential of online learning

3. strike early

Strike early ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਜਲਦੀ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨਾ। ਇਹ ਅਕਸਰ ਮਿਲਟਰੀ ਅਟੈਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਸਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। 

• Serious illnesses can strike early.
