Useful expressions

1. binge (verb)

Binge म्हणजे 'over-indulge', मनमुराद आनंद लुटणे. खूप खाण्या पिण्याबद्दल हा शब्द वापरला जातो पण आता इतर संदर्भातही वापरला जातो.

2.  laundry list (noun)

A laundry-list म्हणजे मोठी यादी.

Prime minister's laundry list of demands at summit.

Residents' laundry list of complaints dismissed by company

3.  Global footprint (noun)

'Footprint' म्हणजे पाऊलखुणा. याचा अर्थ प्रभाव असाही घेतला जातो. a 'global footprint' of a business  म्हणजे एखाद्या उद्योगाचे जगभरातील अस्तित्त्व किंवा प्रभाव.
