Introduction
Humans have two eyes, but some animals have more! We use our eyes to see, and sunglasses protect our eyes from the sun, but there are also some English phrases with the word 'eye'. Learn some of them here with Beth.

If you have an eye for something, you're very good at noticing something specific. It's often used to talk about detail and fashion.
Nicky is such a good interior designer. She really hasan eye for colour.
If you keep an eye on something, you look after or watch something or someone carefully.
I'm keeping an eye on my niece while my sister is at the hairdresser.
If you turn a blind eye, you ignore something happening that you know is wrong.
I'm turning a blind eye to the number of sweets he's eating. It is his birthday.
And if you try to catch someone's eye, you try to get their attention.
Let's catch the waiter's eye. We need to pay!
