在描述移动过程时，我们会用介词表示移动的方向。比如，“walk through a forest（穿过一片森林）” 和 “walk around the forest（绕着一片森林走）”，就通过不同的介词表示了不同的运动方向。本期视频中，主持人 Georgie 分享一些表示运动方向的介词和它们的常见用法。

“Into” 进入……

• She wanted to go into the house.
  她想要走进房子里。

“Towards” 向……的方向移动

• To get into the house, first she walked towards the building.
  为了进入房子，她先走向了这幢建筑。

“Through” 穿过并移动到某物的另一边

• She came into the house through the door.
  她穿过大门，进入了房子。

“Up” 向……上方移动

• She walked up the stairs to get to the floor above. 
  她走上楼梯，来到上面一层楼。

“Down” 向……下方移动

• She forgot something, so she went down the stairs again.
  她忘拿了一些东西，所以又走下了楼梯。

“Over” 从……的上方越过

• She thought about jumping over the clothes on the floor.
  她考虑了要不要从地上的衣服上方跳过去。

“Past” 从……的旁边经过

• She decided to walk past the clothes on the floor.
  她决定从地上的衣服旁边走过。

“Out of” 从……里出来

• The banana fell out of the fridge. 
  香蕉从冰箱里掉了出来。

“Off” 离开一个平面或位置

• She picked up the banana off the floor. 
  她把香蕉从地上捡了起来。

“Away from” 离开……的位置

• She ran away from the spider in fright.
  她害怕地从蜘蛛那儿跑开了。

“Around” 绕着某处移动

• She went around the table.
  她绕着桌子走。

“Across” （水平地）从一边移动到另一边

• She walked across the street.
  她穿过这条街。

“From/to” 从……/到……，表示移动的起点和终点

• She walked from her house to the supermarket.
  她从她的房子走到了超市。
