Nouns with 2 syllables
คำนามที่มี 2 พยางค์

In English we normally stress the first syllable in 2 syllable nouns
ในภาษาอังกฤษ คำนามที่มี 2 พยางค์ จะออกเสียงเน้นพยางค์แรก

• picnic
• football
• sandwich
• coffee

Exceptions
ข้อยกเว้น

• hotel

Some words that seem like more than 2 syllables – we actually only pronounce with 2
บางคำที่ฟังดูคล้ายมากกว่า 2 พยางค์ เราจะออกเสียงเน้น 2 พยางค์

• strawberry
• chocolate

Verbs with 2 syllables
คำกริยาที่มีสองพยางค์

With verbs, the stress is normally on the second syllable
