| | The Feature has been exploring Lancashire's unique food heritage...
There's been a quiet revolution in the county in recent years, in favour of real, wholesome, home-cooked food... using the resources and products of a rich, diverse and perhaps undervalued range of growers and producers... from farmers in the fields to fisherman along our coastline...many operating traditionally, others successfully adapting to the times.
They're celebrated in a new book called Flavours of Lancashire, written by local historian and self-confessed food-lover Malcolm Greenhalgh.
Hear Malcolm's guided tours of some of his favourite local haunts, taking in cheese, geese, fish, meat, vegetables and some exotic ice cream... | | | last updated: 24/11/06 | | Have Your Say | | Robin Dodgson Great feature, great subject put together by a multi talented top, top man.
