Leisure complex
The leisure complex includes a multiplex cinema, swimming pools for both competition and leisure, a night club, health and fitness centre and a number of restaurants and bars.

Development well under way
A number of parts of the waterfront plan have already been completed, including the re-development of Havre des Pas, the steam clock, La Fregate, Maritime House, Les Jardins de la Mer, Cineworld, Liquid nightclub, Pizza Hut, KFC, Chicago Rock Cafe and parts of the housing project.

Another aspect of the waterfront centre will be the infrastructure surrounding the buildings, roads, lighting and bridges.

"

A forum of eighty
After a forum of 80 people decided a bridge was needed to connect the waterfront centre to the main town area, a competition was launched to find a suitable design. 70 companies put designs forward, and this was narrowed down to six finalists, before a winner was chosen.

We have included details of each of the waterfront areas, as well as details of things that are in the plan but not finalised, and a forum for you to have your say!
