Sully

Pilot Chesley Sullenberger is branded a hero when he saves his passengers' lives by landing his damaged airliner on the Hudson River, but he is left haunted by the event.

On 15 January 2009, Captain Chesley Sullenberger becomes an international hero when his experience and professionalism brings to safety the 155 passengers aboard flight 1549 after an unprecedented bird strike knocks out both engines soon after take off from La Guardia Airport. Distracted by a blaze of publicity, he and his co-pilot Jeff Skiles face an official aviation investigation into the miraculous landing, and doubts are raised by computer evidence and simulations that suggest he should have taken a less drastic course of action.
