hello all veterans
i am a 57 year old and to young to have been in ww2 but i have great respect for all our veterans that survived and also those who never,i am very interested in the invasion of normandy in 1944 and i had raised £3,500 by walking 48 miles along the normandy coast and surrounding area's (and without blisters i am pleased to say hahah)i have a small collection including sand from all 5 beaches to which i treasure very much.i live in the area of thurrock essex and my father to who i live with along with my philippina wife,my father is 87 and is an dunkirk veteran and took a small part in the liberation of belson near cella germany
it is my wish to return again to normandy for another sponsership sometime in 2006 again for the normandy veterans in battle dress if possible and i will be looking for helpers i close now and wish express my greatest gratitude and thanks to all veterans that took part in ww2 and without you all we would not have been here today thank you all and godbless you.
