Nick Schofield: 6 string Mark 'Murky, The Master of the Riff Stance' Mercier: 6 string James Ogier: 4 string Paul 'Taz' Etasse: Drums Band HistoryThe band was started by Paul and Jonny, who decided to try and get a band together to write some "slammin" heavy metal, without all the melodic breaks or cheesy choruses that seem so popular today. Their good friends James and Shinfo were recruited soon after to fill the gaps. ![]() Murky of Brutus Stonefist Following the demise of another local act the bands line up was bolstered with another six stringer in the form of 'The Master of The Riff Stance', Mark 'Murky' Mercier. Over the next few months things shifted again and Nick Schofield replaced Jonny Holloway on guitar. The band are heavily influenced by ground-breaking metal bands like Pantera and Sepultura, as well as more modern hardcore bands such as Hatebreed and Throwdown, and present day metal bands Lamb of God and stoner legends Down.
