The Royal Guernsey Light Infantry At The West ShowAt the 2007 West Show an area was reserved for a re-enactment of a First World War camp by the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry. At this years West Show an area of the field was reserved for a special encampment by a re-enactment group who were making a display of military life in 1917. ![]() RGLI Officer Commanding Dickie Ingram. Led by Officer Commanding Dickie Ingram the batallion used a mixture of period and replica clothing and equipment to set out the camp of a troop of soldiers from 1917 complete with tents, uniforms and stoves. Throughout the afternoon they took part in an inspection parade before giving a demonstration in the main arena.
