Concert Information
The culmination of a BBC SO Learning project sees a free performance on the Barbican FreeStage.
As part of the Total Immersion celebrations exploring the music of Villa Lobos, the BBC SO Learning team have created an exciting new piece, ‘Contracanto’, inspired by the music of Villa Lobos.
The piece combines massed forces of children’s voices, samba drummers, young instrumentalists, a brass band and a big family chorus. Come along and hear us perform it on the Barbican FreeStage (the foyer space on the ground floor). It's free!
