BBC Music Introducing Baby Strange

The Glaswegian trio Baby Strange consist of Johnny Madden on vocals and guitar and brothers Aidan and Connaire McCann on bass and drums. Formed in 2012 they decided to name themselves after a track from T-Rex’s 1972 album The Slider.

Their punk, grunge and dark vibe nods towards the early sound of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club as well as more current bands like Palma Violets, who they have toured with in the UK.

In August, they performed a short but very sharp session for BBC Radio Scotland's Vic Galloway.
