Classy Classics! St Davids Cathedral Festival

The Festival opens with a family-friendly event as the Festival Children’s Chorus joins amazing musicians from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. This short concert of popular favourites will include music from BBC Ten Pieces, along with excerpts from Complete Nonsense, a setting of poems by Edward Lear and Lewis Carroll, composed by Lenny Sayers (principal bass clarinet, BBC NOW). The Festival Children’s Chorus will feature in Complete Nonsense and will close the concert with Gareth Glyn’s medley, Classy Classics, a whistle-stop tour of classical melodies, all accompanied by musicians from BBC NOW.
