Right, that's the end of MNL for another day.

    We are off.

Just time to leave you with a couple of new live music videos sourced from the many millions of US late night chat shows.

First up Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon doing mean impressions of Miley's godmother Dolly Parton and duet partner Kenny Rogers.

We take our hats (and wigs) off to them for this above.

While over on the other station, St Vincent (above) performed one of her new songs Los Ageless - as disembodied legs danced through a slitted curtain.

Fairly standard scenes for Annie Clark as you'll know by now.

Scroll down for more tributes to the late Tom Petty and the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

Plus lots of action from last night's BBC Introducing Live - including a chat with the country's hottest young grime star and a slightly older rapper Loyle Carner smashing his Maida Vale set today.

And finally - is a most unlikely new Britpop chart battle about to emerge tomorrow?

Everything Everything popped up at the BBC Introducing Live show last night, thanking the Beeb for giving them their first ever festival slot at Reading and Leeds in 2009.

"We were really nervous," recalls bassist Jeremy Pritchard, "and then we realised Zane Lowe was standing literally in the middle of the crowd – and he’s quite tall, so he was very easy to spot."

This leads to a discussion about whether it's acceptable for tall people to stand in front of regular-sized fans at gigs.

"I've got into some proper fights," says Pritchard, who is something of a beanpole himself.

"People take it very personally. I didn’t mean to be tall. All I'm doing is walking to the bar but I get it in the neck so much."

"Well," interjects singer Jonathan Higgs, "you get it in the lower back."

"To some extent, I see their point," Pritchard says. "But what do you do? Stand at the back of the venue?"

    Quote Message

For me, it's: 'Can I still do my show? Should I still do my show, only two days after the nightmare?'

"I wake up thinking about music and it's the last thing on my mind when I go to bed"

He added: "I'm lucky to be in this position where I can kick-start my career. We have no constraints now."

Blossoms perform Honey Sweet (feat. Declan McKenna) at BBC Music Introducing Live 2017.

More from BBC Introducing's big 10th birthday bash last night now...

Blossoms' debut album hit number one and was nominated for a Mercury Prize, but the band aren't resting on their laurels.

They've been back in the studio over the summer, working on the follow-up and, according to singer Tom Ogden, it's "almost done".

The five-piece honed their sound by rehearsing in a scaffolding yard in Stockport but, they admit, they haven't gone back there for the new record.

"Because we’ve been touring we haven’t gone and rehearsed I’ve wrote songs on the days I’ve had at home, then we’ve gone into the studio and built it from scratch," Ogden told us, backstage at BBC Introducing Live.

But that doesn't mean the band are moving away from their signature sound.

"We’ve always mixed electronic drums with real drums and synths and guitars," Ogden explains. "So now we have more time in the studio now to pick out sounds.

"Whereas, if you’re in a rehearsal room with one keyboard with 10 in-built sounds, you’re a bit limited, aren’t you?"

The singer says the album's due at the start of 2018. You heard it here first.

"I was at my cousin’s and I tried to listen to the show on a laptop but it wouldn’t work. So I never heard it!"

"My producer, David Ferguson, wanted to do a duet and he got his friend Billy Ray Cyrus to come in and listen to the track. Billy played it to Noah and I think he got her to sing on it.

"For somebody from more of a pop background to sing on a song I’ve written is an amazing feeling."

We just hope he kept the backstage dressing room clean...
