    Ariana GrandeImage source, Getty Images

A father of three young Ariana Grande fans is being praised online after penning an open letter to the singer re-assuring her that her fans "aren't going anywhere".

The 23-year-old pop star singer last night pulled the next two weeks of her tour, following Monday's tragedy in Manchester, including two gigs in London tonight and tomorrow.

But now some "unsolicited advice from a fat dude in Georgia", aka Patrick Millsaps, has really caught the attention of social media.

He starts: "Dear Miss Grande, I am the father of three daughters - aged 13, 12 and 12. So, you have been a part of our family for years."

He then goes on to advice her she doesn't have a thing to apologise for and to sing again when and only when she is ready.

  12. New Beatles Sgt pepper documentary out in cinemas tomorrowpublished at 13:04 BST 25 May 2017

    The BeatlesImage source, Getty Images

To mark 50 years of The Beatles seminal record Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band, a new film about the fab four will hit big screens tomorrow.

Alan G. Parker's It Was Fifty Years Ago Today! The Beatles: Sgt Pepper & Beyond investigates the year that culminated in the release of arguably their masterpiece (although maybe you prefer Abbey Road, Revolver, Help!, etc).

The movie follows John, Paul, George and Ringo from when they decided to quit performing and touring in August 1966, in order to fully experiment in the recording studio in the guise of a new alter ego and to embrace London's summer of love.

Former Beatles drummer Pete Best and Buzzcocks guitarist/Beatles mega-fan Steve Diggle committed their memories to camera but the star of the show is band manager Brian Epstein's secretary at the time Barbara O'Donnell.

Read the letter in full below:

    To My Sweet Christopher,

You were the best father, husband and son-in-law. Your patience, empathy and love always showed through.

You had always said I saved you, that you wouldn’t be alive if it were not for me. My heart gleamed to see you happy, living and motivated. Excited for life. Doing everything you could to give back. We had the time of our lives in the last decade and I’m sorry, my sweet love, that I did not see what happened to you that night. I’m sorry you were alone, and I know that was not you, my sweet Christopher. Your children know that too, so you can rest in peace.

I’m broken, but I will stand up for you and I will take care of our beautiful babies. I will think of you every minute of every day and I will fight for you. You were right when you said we are soulmates. It has been said that paths that have crossed will cross again, and I know that you will come find me, and I will be here waiting.

I love you more than anyone has ever loved anyone in the history of loving and more than anyone ever will.

    Always and forever,Your Vicky

“But you know, I think this particular atrocity will take quite a while to heal.”
