Experience two very different approaches to folk music in one concert: Bartók’s intense, earthy response to Hungarian Folk Song and Tchaikovsky’s folk-inspired Second Symphony. Both are packed with melodies that you’ll remember for days. Warm and romantic, Bruch’s Double Concerto has all of the great qualities of his First Violin Concerto, plus the wisdom of maturity.
