This concert is dedicated to two of the most significant Scandinavian composers: the Norwegian Grieg, and the Finnish Sibelius.
The programme will feature a selection of Grieg's incidental music to Ibsen’s play -Peer Gynt, and Sibelius Symphony No 1.
At the centre of the concert is Elgar’s last notable work- the melancholic Cello Concerto with Armenian soloist Narek Hakhnazaryan.
Join us for what promises to be an evening filled with Nordic, sounds, flavours and technical mastery.
