The event ended shortly before we went live on air from Orlando

After picking up gold in the 4x100m relay, the UK have won 18 gold, 17 silver and 10 bronze medals in the pool.

Mike Goody picked up four golds for the 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke and the 4x50m relay with a bronze in the breaststroke.

And Zoe Williams won three golds for the 50m and 100m freestyles and a silver in the 50m backstroke.

Rumours that the entire team jumped back in in celebration have proved to be unfounded. (We totally made this up.)
