Under the baton of musical director Juanjo Mena, the BBC Philharmonic will perform three pieces written by the Argentinian composer, Alberto Ginastera.
The programme opens with Gianestera’s ‘Ollantay’, inspired by Mayan myths, and explores the vastness of the Argentine Pampas lowlands in Pampeana No.3, before closing with his gaucho-inspired Overture to the Creole 'Faust'.
