Acclaimed for their “spellbinding virtuosity” (Time Out New York) US ensemble Yarn/Wire bring their trademark precision and energy to works written for them. Thomas Meadowcroft’s Walkman Antiquarian uses samples from the composer’s father’s record collection in conjunction with a grand piano, while Hyenas in the Temples of Pleasure is modelled in part after a poem by LA-based poet Brendan Constantine.
