Concert Information
The BBC Singers and BBC Concert Orchestra are joined by conductor Daniel Hyde, Director of Music at King's College Cambridge for a live concert for Good Friday.
There's choral music by Dobrinka Tabakova, Composer in Residence with the BBC CO, and Roderick Williams; and the orchestra play music by influential American composer Judith Lang Zaimont and Joseph Haydn.
The climax of the concert is a recent orchestration of Vaughan Wiilliams's Dona nobis pacem, which uses texts from the Mass, the Bible and poems by Walt Whitman.
