The summer of 2012 shone bright on Rita Ora. Roc Nation’s favourite Londoner had already won the hearts of many with DJ Fresh collaboration Hot Right Now, before R.I.P. put her on the worldwide radar. The Drake penned hit featured Tinie Tempah and gave Ora her first UK number 1 in early May.

Soon after she was stepping on stage at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend and winning over new fans week by week on a series of festival appearances. How We Do followed in August, making it three number ones in a year for Rita, ahead of guest judge appearances on X Factor and a trio of MTV award nominations.
