The BBC Philharmonic joins forces with the RNCM as the conservatoire celebrates its 50th birthday. Hear talented students performing alongside the orchestra at MediaCityUK in a special concert full of colour and compellingly original soundscapes from British Composer Anna Clyne, plus an inspiring array of new works from RNCM composition students.
The first half of the concert sees the RNCM’s innovative Brand New Orchestra perform side-by-side with the BBC Philharmonic for Clyne’s Masquerade and three compositions by RNCM students. During the second half, the BBC Philharmonic take to the stage for Clyne’s This Midnight Hour conducted by an RNCM Junior Fellow, plus Clyne’s vivid work, Color Field followed by two other student compositions.
