  1. A plume of spray rises from the back of Bluebird as it travels across Coniston Water. The machine looks like a cross between a boat and a plane. Painted blue, it has a tail fin. Trees can be seen on the shoreline.

  2. A beaver swimming in a river. Its brown fur is wet as it glides through the water, with one deep, black eye looking ahead and two small ears tucked behind. The rippling water reflects the green foliage above, with small leaves floating alongside the animal.
