BBC World Service
Information on World Service for suppliers

Overview
The BBC World Service aims to be the world's first choice amongst international broadcasters. We want to inspire people and illuminate their lives. Our programmes need to support - and build on - our reputation for being authoritative, impartial and accurate. With your help we can achieve all of this...and make the most of our unique ability to bring the world together, making connections and helping listeners make sense of the world. We seek impact and originality.
Ad hoc Commissions
We are always keen to listen to ideas which fall outside the formal commissioning process. We have a flexible schedule which can respond quickly to topical and novel ideas. In the first instance, if you have a specific idea for a World Service programme you should contact Golnoosh Golshani or Simon Pitts before submitting proposals to Proteus.
