The Premier League trophy is the prize they're all fighting for
Manchester United's manager Sir Alex Ferguson is expecting a thrilling 令人兴奋的 end to the Premier League season after his side leapfrogged 跳过 (某人) Arsenal at the top of the table 榜首.

Sir Alex Ferguson says the league is "bubbling up nicely now". He means it's becoming very exciting because the top three teams are very close.

Arsenal's result against Middlesbrough was their fourth draw in the league in a row, a run 一连串的,连续的 that has seen the Gunners' five-point lead at the top evaporate 失去机会.

Dropped points
 We have dropped lots of points and it is a big disappointment. I feel the spirit is there and the players are giving everything, but at the moment it's not working for us.

Arsenal's manager, Arsene Wenger, says they've "dropped lots of points". He means they have drawn games he thinks they should have won. Teams only get one point for a drawn game but three points for winning.

Wenger often talks about spirit 精神. This is a quality he thinks is essential to produce a winning team. When he says the players are "giving everything" he means they are trying their hardest.

Arsenal and third-placed Chelsea play each other this weekend and both managers know how important the game is.

Chelsea manager Avram Grant is refusing to give up on 放弃 the Blues winning their third league title in four seasons.

Belief
 If there is even one [person] in the club who does not believe, he should not be in football. I am positive and very optimistic by nature, but if I was in a situation where I did not believe, I would be looking for another job.

Avram Grant means that the club needs to be united 团结一致 and have total belief 坚定的信念 in their ability to win otherwise they shouldn't be playing football. He thinks that if you don't believe you cannot win.
