Owen Hargreaves celebrates his first goal for Manchester United
The title race 头衔赛 is far from over after this weekend’s Premiership games, which saw Arsenal’s lead reduced to a single point.

Premiership leaders Arsenal were lucky to get a late 1-1 draw at home to Aston Villa after scoring an own goal 乌龙球 in the first half. It looked like the Gunners’ (阿森纳足球俱乐部球迷的绰号)枪手 luck had run out until they managed to score an equaliser in the last minute of the game.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said his team had to "dig deep" 尽全力 to get the late equalising goal, which meant his team received one point.

Digging deep
We had to dig deep to get to the pace of the game and it was the desire and refusal to lose which got us a point.

Arsene Wenger, Arsenal manager

He went on to praise his team’s attitude, saying it was their "refusal to lose" which earned them their point.

Manchester United cruised 轻松的获胜 to a comfortable 4-1 victory over Fulham, who are facing relegation 降级 at the end of the season. The result means that Manchester United are only one point behind Arsenal with just ten games to go until the end of the season.

And Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes that Arsenal could crack under the pressure 承受不住压力.

Hargreaves warned Arsenal that both Manchester United and Chelsea were "breathing down your neck", meaning they are so close behind that Arsenal can feel their presence.

Look behind you
It’s not easy when you look over your shoulder and see Manchester United and Chelsea breathing down your neck.

But he also pointed out the pressure on all teams in the last games of the season.

"Every game now is going to be like a cup final 夺冠赛," said Hargreaves.

However, the man with most to prove 最需要证明自己 this weekend was Chelsea manager Avram Grant, following his team’s loss of the Carling Cup Final to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

The normally mild-mannered 温和的行为举止 Grant lashed out 突然大怒 at certain sectors of the British media before Saturday’s game against West Ham United.

"I respect the media in England - even though you gave me no credit 没有给予认可/表扬 at the beginning, but since then I've heard a lot of lies," raged 愤怒的 Grant, protesting about the way some newspapers have written about disputes within Chelsea FC.

Lies, damn lies
I respect the media in England - even though you gave me no credit at the beginning, but since then I've heard a lot of lies.

Avram Grant, Chelsea manager

"You're trying to hurt the team, hurt the club because we lost one game," added the Chelsea manager.

His team, however, did their talking on the football pitch, giving West Ham a 4-0 hiding 痛击(赢得比赛).

Chelsea’s win brought them to just three points behind Manchester United and four points of Arsenal, blowing the title race wide open 任何一支球队都有可能夺冠.

What happens next is anybody’s guess 谁也说不准, but some British bookmakers (赛马/球赛)登记赌注的人 say that Manchester United are now favourites to retain the title.
