How to make a Mother's Day tea set 🫖
Watch Louise Pentland show you how to make a super cute tea set for Mother's Day. Start with a customised tea bag, create a beautiful marble mug and then top it off with some delicious chocolate dipped peppermints!
Add a special message to your tea bags
You will need:
Teabags with string already attached
Coloured card
Pen
Glue stick
Scissors (grab a grown-up if you need help cutting)
Spruce up a mug with this cool marble effect
You will need:
White mug (you could use an old one, but make sure you ask permission first!)
Nail varnish (2 or more colours)
Hot water (be careful with hot water - grab a grown-up)
Old tray or container (that you don’t mind getting nail varnish on - You could use an old ice cream tub or a disposable foil tray! Make sure to throw this away safely afterwards.)
Old newspapers (Use this to protect the floor or table you are working on)
How to make chocolate dipped peppermints
You will need:
1/2 bag royal icing (if you want to make fewer peppermint creams, use less icing)
1 teaspoon of peppermint essence
A few drops of green food colouring
A dusting of icing sugar (to stop it from getting too sticky!)
