Test your fruit and vegetable knowledge and discover how much you know about what’s planted and harvested in the UK throughout the year.

At certain times of the year, some fruits and vegetables can't be grown in the UK due to unsuitable climate conditions. To meet demand, these crops are either imported from abroad or grown using special equipment like polytunnels. Polytunnels, often used for strawberries, help protect crops from wildlife and also create a warmer environment that speeds up growth for strawberries and other produce.
