Welney Wetland Centre (WWT)

Discover our incredible wetland wildlife up close. Feel like you’re under water in our specially designed pond room, with its microscope tables, art and craft activities and views of the bird feeding station. Pick up an explorer backpack and follow the trails to learn more about our seasonal wildlife, go pond dipping (April – September) and hunt for bugs.

And if you still have energy, why not explore the furthest reaches of the reserve to totally immerse yourselves in the wetland experience.

Welney Wetland Centre (WWT) is one of over 200 attractions around the UK that Blue Peter badge holders can get into for free.

To gain free entry, each child must have a Blue Peter badge, a valid Blue Peter badge ID card and be accompanied by a full paying or concessionary adult. If a paying adult is accompanied by two children with badges and valid badge cards, free entry will be given for both children.

If a disabled badge holder is accompanied by a registered carer, both can gain free entry. Carers must bring supporting documents.

Welney Wetland Centre may arrange special events throughout the year which may incur an extra cost. Please check details with the centre before visiting.
