RHS Garden Bridgewater

RHS Bridgewater is a garden with real heart, 154 acres of glorious gardens set in Salford’s historical landscape. The garden opened in May 2021 and there’s so much to enjoy, like the contemporary Worsley Welcome Garden and the Paradise Garden with its awe-inspiring blend of Mediterranean and Asiatic planting. You can learn all about growing food in the beautiful and productive Kitchen Garden and spot the birds and wildlife on Ellesmere Lake and Moon Bridge Water. Togetherness really is at the heart of RHS Bridgewater, that’s why there’s always something for the whole family to enjoy – including nearly 4 acres of wonderful woodland play and year-round events including school holiday highlights every half-term and summer.

From Autumn 2022 there will be a new garden at RHS Bridgewater inspired by Blue Peter. The garden will be all about soil and the amazing underground world of mini-beasts beneath our feet. But, before the New Blue Peter Garden is built at Bridgewater, it will first feature at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2022. Free Entry to Badge Holders

RHS Garden Bridgewater is one of over 200 attractions around the UK that Blue Peter badge holders can get into for free.

To gain free entry, each child must have a Blue Peter badge, a valid Blue Peter badge ID card and be accompanied by a full paying adult. If a paying adult is accompanied by two children with badges and valid badge cards, free entry will be given for both children.

If a disabled badge holder is accompanied by a registered carer, both can gain free entry. Carers must bring supporting documents.
